Even though MBNA (www.mbna.co.uk) are best know for their credit card services, they have grown into a more rounded financial services business offering a wider range of services. However, it is still the credit card business which they are most noted for, offering mass market credit cards all the way up to the high value business end of the market. While MBNA have managed to stay competitive within one of the most difficult credit card markets in the world, they have also managed to introduce a range of incentives for their customers. The company’s online access system is second to none, offering the full range of account activities all online and available from the comfort of your own home. So whether you are looking for your first credit card, a business credit card or a personal loan, MBNA might just be the place for you. I recently transferred all of my credit card balances to my MBNA card to take advantage of their great 0% offer. This is going to save me a fortune in the long run and i have finally learnt my lesson about buying things which I cannot afford. I really wish that i had done this a few years ago because I used to have 3 cards and lost track of the amount of debt i was in. Thankfully its all in order now and I have my direct debit set up to make sure I don’t get any late payment fines!

I wish that I had never taken an MBNA credit card, mbnaplatinumplus, as I have had nothing but trouble since the start. They messed up my standing order at the beginning and this took ages to sort out and then theyb hit me with a load of penalty charges. I got the charges back but it was a battl. Once the card is paid off I will be cutting the damn thing up.

I only recently saw the advert for MBNA and thought i woud give them a try. I found he internet site very easy to use and just applied online. They came back to me a couple of days later and confirmed that I have been accepted for my first card. I hope I don’t spend too much!

Have had an mbna platinum plus credit card (under the alliance & leicester banner)for some years now. I cannot speak too highly of them. The call centre staff are well trained and helpful, and always carry out my requests / insructions to the letter. On the down side it takes much longer to navigate their over-complicated phone system than it used to in the past. However, in an industry that gets “a lot of stick”, MBNA stands out ahead of the pack
