While O2 (www.o2.co.uk/shop) can be traced back many years to when it was part of the UK giant, British Telecom, there have been great changes since those early days. As a stand alone business O2 did struggle at the start and was left behind by the likes of Vodafone in the early days. However, after being acquired by European telecommunications giant Telefonica there was a major shift in the fortunes of the company. Recent successes include the exclusive contract to sell the Apple iPhone in the UK market, a deal which was the target for many mobile phone companies. While in all honesty there is still much work to be done, O2, 02.co.uk/shop, have got themselves a firm foothold in the pay as you go and contract markets, and offer a vast array of mobile phone handset in their retails outlets, and online. They are now in a position to respond to the competitive nature of the UK telecoms market and offer customers a more all round service.

I bought my phone online and arranged the contract online with no problems and the phone arrived 48 hours later! I gave them my bank details and they arranged the direct debit for my monthly bill with nothing else for me to do. I wish everything in life was this easy.
Average Customer Review::I was in town at Christmas and saw that O2 have got the deal for that new Apple iPhone its the one the youngest daughter has been after for ages. I went in and had a chat with the lady in the shop and she talked me through it all as I have nt got a clue. Bought the phone took it home and the daughter loves it, but now my youngest son wants one even though he is only 8! Ive been having a look at those iphones and i reckon i might get one myself as they say you will be able to get TV on them soon. Is this right?
Average Customer Review::I took out a contract phone with them a while ago and managed to take out a second phone for the wife. She loves it although she seems to have a better deal than me! The kids are getting to that age and i think I will give O2 a call adn try to wangle another couple of phones off them
Average Customer Review::I’ve been with O2 for years now, ever since the good old days of BT Cellnet and have not once had a problem with them. They have boosted reception twice in the past five years so you should never have a problem getting through to anyone. Also as an O2 customer you get exclusive access & invites to O2 events, including those at the O2 arena, formally the Millennium Dome. Their website has some great deals and you get free delivery on the latest handsets.
