Sky+ HD ,sky.com/hd, is the best thing since sliced bread! It is a big improvement on “normal” TV, with up to four times more detail, much more vibrant colour, and Dolby digital 5.1 surround sound as standard. Plus when you get Sky HD they give you are new digital box which has Sky+ built in, this means that you can record, rewind and even pause live TV. You can record a single programme or a whole series with the touch of one button, is it so easy to use. The big problem with Sky HD has always be the cost, originally it cost £299 just for the box and then another £10 a month after that. The £299 was pretty good value becuase of the all the technology you got, the box is basically a high spec PC. But £299 was too much for most, so very recently they dropped the price to a amazing £75, but hurry the offer will not be around for ever. Another issue has been the lack of HD channels, that has also changed recently. Sky now has 26 HD channels, so you can almost watch HD all night long. The best HD channels are Sky Movies and Sky Movies. The football is my favorite, once you have seen it on HD you never want to go back, it is like looking through a window, simply brilliant!
