just got this the other day, setup was quick he came in 3 days of when i made the order online got the sky hd box for free is well.
dont know if i have to claim for the m&s vouchers have not received them, however its only been a week since i have had it.
The quality is some of the older films on the hd channels just look like they have been upscaled, but when your viewing the national wild channel and sky one hd and the newer films it looks amazing some of it i would really saw is close to blue ray. it runs on 1080i, i always find 1080p better dunno why just personal preference. iut its does not have the option to change it to 1080p its does have it for 720p and 1080i, when i spoke the the engineer he said it makes you hd box run smoother in 1080i thats why its preset to that.
the box is great if you can ask your sky engineer for a amstrad box from what i hear they break down alot less then the samsung one and thompson ones, the amstrad boxex also as far as im aware are not fitting them with the new epg for a while and trust me you dont want the new epg there CRAP!
Basicly i give it a 8/10 its great perfect worth the money with the movies but still some things look like there dvd quality and only have been upscaled as newer movies on hd look as crisp as blueray.
p.s i hear in the future the are giving sky hd customers the 3d sky channels for free when they are brought out in the uk
thanks tom
