Egg.com Review
Egg (www.egg.com) were one of the worlds first online only banks. They started way back in 1998, and have since grown into (their claim) the world’s largest pure online bank. Because they were first they have more experience so are great at helping customers to understand and manage their money more effectively. They cover three main areas; borrowing, saving and insurance. In general they appear to be very competitive on price. In Feb 2006 they were awarded two honours for “œBest online presence” and “œBest industry innovation of the year” at The Credit Card Awards, judged by a panel of fifteen top financial professionals. I have to say their customer service has been great. They offer 24 hour banking, plus the waiting time is short and all operators are very helpful and friendly.

I took out an Egg credit card about three years ago now. After I had been personally recommended by a good friend. I moved from Barclaycard which is much more expensive. Overall, i have been very happy with Egg, the rates are competitive and service is great, personally i would recommend them to anyone.
