Eurostar.com UK Review

While it may have taken some time for the full service to become operational, it is fair to say that the Eurostar (www.eurostar.com) has changed the face of continental rail travel for UK passengers forever. The high speed rail link was well behind time and well over budget, but since 2007 it has been fully operational with speeds of up to 186mph now common place. Using the “Eurotunnel” this has opened up a whole new market for both UK business and consumers, and also allowed overseas access to the UK via train. It is now possible to travel to the likes of Paris and Brussels from the UK in under two and a half hours, something which has not gone unnoticed by the consumer market. There are ambitious plans to increase the scope of the network in the future and the Eurostar service is going form strength to strength, after something of a delayed start.
