While NatWest (www.natwest.com) may be part of the Royal bank of Scotland Group, it is a reflection of the presence and reputation of NatWest that they are still trading under their original name. The multi-billion pound takeover of the group has progressed well and allowed NatWest to further leverage the range and quality of their services yet higher, supported by the backing of their parent company. As you would expect they offer the traditional savings, loans, and investment accounts together with a vast array of innovative mortgage offerings and the whole insurance package – whether you are looking for home, car or life insurance to name but a small selection. Whether you know what you are after or require financial advice, NatWest are in a position to help with their army of advisers. Full trained in the most up to date products available, the enlarged NatWest Group has grown in stature of late, able to offer access to the full range of financial products and services available in the market.

I have had my business account with NatWest for nerly 20 years and but for a couple of small problems they seem to be fine, although I see they are looking to increase their charges yet again! I have done a little checking around and all of the banks seem to be increasing their charges, is this something to do with that overdraft court case? In their defence i must say they have a great small business adviser down at our local branch and she seems to know waht she is talking about. I might have a look around later in the year for another account but I cant really be bothered.
Average Customer Review::I only just found out that NatWest (www.natwest.com/natwestone) are owned by Royal Bank of Scotland which shows how much notice i take! I tend to do all of my transactions online and have had no real problems with the internet service. I will be taking out a mortgage over the next couple of years and rom what I see NatWest seem to be as good as anyone?
Average Customer Review::I have been with NatWest since before they were bought by that Scottish Bank (Royal Bank?) and have to say that the service is much worse than it used to be. I have not seen my bank manger for at least 5 years and they say they will charge me if I want a meeting! I presume that it is the same with all of the banks now? I saw them advertised on tv, natwest.com/myhome.
Average Customer Review::We took our mortgage with Natwest after seeing an offer on tv, natwest.com/mortgage or natwest.com/greatrate. They sorted everthing out in less than 7 days and the rate was competitive, but not the cheapest. If you are looking for a good rate try this url: natwest.com/express3
Average Customer Review::Mortgages are really expensive at the moment, but if you are looking for a good mortgage without any fees you could try the Natwest fee free mortages like i did, excellent service too. Natwest.com/feefree
Average Customer Review::Can find the page which they are advertsing: natwest.com/branches
Average Customer Review::I am furious with this bank. My daughter and I have banked at the same branch for many years. She wrote me a cheque which ‘bounced’ because funds from a savings account had not cleared into her account. Because of a 2-day delay she was ‘fined’ £160 !!! That’s your reward for loyalty so I am moving my account. Be warned !
Average Customer Review::I have been a customer for over 20 years of NatWest Bank and 30 years of Barclaycard and had a policy of only using one credit card so I used Barclaycard. That is until I discovered the ease at which I was able to use online banking with Natwest as opposed to Barclaycard. To register online was easy with Natwest because a delightful Natwest representive talked me through the process on the phone and comparatively swift however, having tried for over a month to register with Barclaycard, because I can not access the registration site and having been ignored by them when I complained, I have now dumped Barclaycard and got a Natwest credit card instead. It is not always the interest rates that count when you want easy banking that does not leave you angry and frustrated. Grannies, even super grannies like me really appreciate the type of help Natwest offer.
