Even though the company still trades under the old Norwich Union name (www.norwichunion.com) the parent company is now known as Aviva. However, the old skills and strengths of the original Norwich Union company have still been retained, and expanded in many places. Perhaps best known in the UK for their comprehensive range of insurance products and services, they also take in life cover, pension arrangements and money investments to name but a few. They have exposure to all of the main financial markets of the world, from the Far East to the US and in between. They also offer a vast array of third party insurance services to a broad range of insurance agents, although this is something which is very rarely publicised. Again, like NatWest, Norwich Union have benefited for being part of a larger group, something which has resulted in substantial investment in the groups activities over the last few years.

I have always had my home insurance with Norwich Union but keep getting post from a company called Aviva but who are they? They always seem to be selling me some new insurance or something. I have claimed on my insurance a couple of times and was surprised to get paid in full.
Average Customer Review::Thank god I took out the breakdown cover last year as my car has broken down twice since then, i don tknow what i would have done without it. I will be transferring my car insurance when it is up next month as they seem to offer better rates if you buy more propducts.
Average Customer Review::Our old house burnt down last year when we were away on holiday something to do with a gas leak form next door. I expected to come back to a nightmare but Norwich Union paid for our alternative accommodation and we were paid in full within 4 weeks. They were always on the phone letting us know what was happening and I would recommend them to everybody. I know who i can trust and i will be staying with them for a very long time as I know that i can trust them. If you can find anyone better you are very very lucky!
Average Customer Review::I live in America and I am finding it virtually impossible to contact any faculty of Norwich Union. The 0845 numbers do not work on an overseas phone call and I’ve tried to find a general info site to ask my questions.

Average Customer Review::The only reason I am using this site, is because your phone answering service is terrible, the waiting music is in poor taste and I do not require any other insurance or service. Just get some extra staff and stop wasting peoples time. You do not deserve our custom. I have not used this site yet. I am trying to cool down after the long unanswered wait on the phone!!
