This Ramada Jarvis (www.ramadajarvis.co.uk) group is a combination of the old Ramada Hotels and Jarvis Hotels businesses, which were struggling due to their size as stand alone companies. The combination of the two has led to the development of a middle range standard hotel group which has exposure all over the world. As is the norm in the sector they are also into health clubs, leisure packages and the like which compliment the traditional hotel operations. They have battled well to stay competitive in a very difficult middle range hotel sector, and while you cannot compare their services or facilities to those of the Hilton, etc, you get what you pay for – great value for money. They now have a foothold in all of the new hotel leisure markets, offering their hotels for weddings and seminars to name but a couple, ensuring that they stay popular with those looking for value for money, rather than top of the range service.

Someone told me that the Ramada was cheap and cheerful and nothing else, but they must have been expecting something different. Me and the wife like to travel away at weekends and see some of the sights down south, but we don’t want to pay massive hotel bills. We joined the Ramada club and you should see some of the offers that we get in the post things which have saved us hundreds of pounds! Next year we are going to go away to London for a few days Christmas shopping and ive already got a Ramada hotel in mind!

I was transferred to Manchester a few years ago and had to stay in the Ramada hotel for a couple of weeks while the company got me a flat. Have to say the food was excellent and the gym was great for filling in my spare time. I have been to a few Ramada hotels since then using their weekend offers.

I took my wife to see Robbie Williams in Glasgow a few years ago and the tickets cost me a fortune. Good job i got a good deal with the Ramada otherwise we might have struggled to get a hotel nearby. The concert was great and the hotel was a million times better than what I expected for the price.
